I recently ran across this video made by a Google AdWords media planner named of Austin Lau, that shows you how to use Google AdWords to specifically target Gmail.
If you are a Google AdWords user, I'm sure you will find it enlightening. If you are not, you might still find it useful.
There are tons of possibilities for using this in your affiliate marketing...
When somebody gets a message from their friend saying something like, “I think I need a new kayak this year to go...”
Shazam! You could show them an advertisement from SeaEagle.
Another way to use it, is when someone writes something like, “I could sure use a new tent for...”
Walla! You can display an ad for a new tent from Gander Mountain.
The only negative I can see, is that there is limited volume, but the low price and high click through rate, should definitely make up for it.
Anyway, It never hurts to have too much knowledge!
